Gracing the occasion with his presence was Chief Guest Mr. Vikram Sud, Regional Head of Operations & Technology; Citi Asia Pacific. He was impressed by the high levels of energy and passion for quizzing that he witnessed at the finale. Applauding the finalist teams he said, "It is great to see such talent here. We need this kind of workforce like you guys who are having this kind of innovation and think innovatively with smart connections."

Abhimanyu S and Rohan Naidu from National University of Singapore were thrilled on their victory. Shared Abhimanyu S, “Quizzing is extremely special to the both of us. We are very passionate about it. It's not just an event, it's a way of life--keeping your mind open all the time and absorbing the world. Pickbrain's quizzes are very well-crafted and Tata Crucible the most prestigious event a quizzer can win, so I feel extremely happy". Added Rohan Naidu, “This was my first-ever Tata Crucible and it is surreal to have won this as a teenager. Quizzing isn't merely regurgitating facts that you've swallowed in preparation for an event, it's a Sherlock Holmes-styled way of deductive reasoning. Pickbrain quizzes ensure that you need to think rather than recall”.
