Corporate Quiz Results - Vizag Steel march ahead
It seemed a perfect Sunday afternoon at Vizag, with teams coming in with their families to enjoy quizzing at the highest possible level. Pickbrain started off by speaking about the 150th year of the Tata’s and the 15th for the quiz and set the tone for this year’s corporate edition. After a well-balanced prelim, the finalists who made it onstage were:

- Vizag Steel : J Rahul and AGK Murty
- Hinduja Group : Manoj Galla and Kishan
- Vizag Steel : Sabyasachi Pani and Santanu Dey
The final started with five Vizag Steel teams making it on stage with a lone warrior in the Hinduja Group represented by two youngsters. The final saw the Vizag Steel duo of AGK Murty and J Rahul start well and get to a quick lead in the first couple of rounds. It was a matter of time before the defending champions in Sabyasachi and Santanu came back well and closed in on the leaders.
The Hinduja team also did well in bursts but was not able to match the experience of the Vizag Steel teams. As the quiz moved into the final phases, AGK Murty and J Rahul were flawless and marched on to victory.
It was observed by the quizmaster, as he gave away the prizes, that the top two teams were both former national champions of this quiz, underlining the standards being set at Vizag, while also appreciating the efforts of the younger teams in making the round competitive.
