Corporate Quiz Results - Vizag Steel dominate Vizag
The smart city of Visakapatnam had over 100 corporates coming together for the quiz. Quizmaster Pickbrain also recognised the presence of school children and kept them busy with his friendly banter. After an interesting set of 20 questions in the prelim, the six finalists who made it were:

- Dredging Corp of India : Capt. Saravanan and N. Panigrahy
- Vizag Steel : Sudhanshu and Rahul Kumar
- Vizag Steel : Sabyasachi Pani and Santanu Dey
- Vizag Steel : Ravi Chand and Sudhakar
- Vizag Steel : Rahul and AGK Murthy
The final was cracking from the word go. The team of Rahul and Murthy went hammer and tongs playing high values on their questions, getting to quick lead. With the quiz moving at a brisk pace all teams started playing high values.
The pressure showed up soon on former champions Sabyasachi and Santanu who committed unforced errors and went in to the negatives.
In the meantime, the duo of Rahul and Murthy kept moving ahead only to be challenged briefly by Ravi and Sudhakar. The latter did well to notch up a very credible score of 300. While that was a very high score for a runner up, it still seemed dwarfed by the 500 that Rahul and Murthy amassed.
Mr. Kiran Bussari, GM, Taj Gateway, Visakapatnam appreciated the teams and pointed that Vizag was now a smart city with smart minds.
