Corporate Quiz Results - TCS dominates Chennai
Close to 100 teams, on a Sunday afternoon at Chennai, set the tone for Quizmaster Pickbrain to dish out his set of questions for the prelim. It sure had its own dash of humour as some teams mistook the Murugan Idli logo for a momo brand!. The six teams that made it was:

- ICICI BANK : Pranay Nehru and Prashanth Kumar
- SPECTRUM 7 : Vijay and Yaggy
- FRESHWORKS : Vishnu and Senthil
- CREDIT MANTRI : Anirudh and Karthik
- FORD : Prashanth Sampath and Sridharan.K
- TCS : Jayakanthan and Aniruddha Dutta
The final fast-paced and TCS set the tone getting to a 300 on the first two strikes. The other teams quickly rallied to play high values as TCS kept the tempo playing only at 150’s. While Ford and TCS were the regular finalists, all the other teams made an impressive mark with their answers.
It was however sheer experience, speed, and preparation from TCS that outdid the others. While Spectrum put up a good fight the compulsion to take half chances resulted in too many negatives. Credit Mantri played with caution and backed it with good answers to cross Ford and others to win the runner-up title.
The guest of honour, Mr. Suresh Raman, Head TCS Chennai, appreciated the teams and spoke of how youngsters of today a very entrepreneurial mindset have even if they are employed leading to more ideas and knowledge being created. He especially appreciated the younger teams that made it to the finale.
