Corporate Quiz Results - Bangalore – Ujjivan and TCS stand tall in Blore
The Taj at Bangalore was bursting on its seams as close to 270 teams contested the 25 question prelim in the city that always looks forward to the Crucible evening. Pickbrain was “at home” in the city he hails from as he went about his task in clinical fashion lacing it with frequent quips and smart one liners that kept the audience smiling. The finalists were:

The Tata track of the quiz witnessed the five time Bangalore champion Tata Elxsi being dethroned by a young and purpose driven TCS team that worked their way to the title one question at a time and played the game with a lot of maturity and caution.
The external track of the quiz was a thriller from the word go. Yahoo, Deloitte and Ujjivan battling a close contest, each of them turning out amazing answers to very appropriately crafted finale by the quizmaster and his team. It came down to the final questions when Ujjivan held their own to get into the south zone final while a tie breaker that followed resulted in Yahoo clinching the runner up title ahead of Deloitte.
The guest of honour Mr.Harish Bhat, the MD and CEO of Tata Global Beverages, a quizzer himself and a former champion of this quiz, said “Tata Crucible has been executed very well in the last decade, which is important and I am confident it will grow in strength as we progress”.
