Campus Quiz Results - Cluster 5 – IIM Trichy shines
Tamil Nadu is always known for its top-quality quizzers, especially when it comes to a Tata Crucible. The digital line up resulted in some of the top institutes, all battling together, in the wildcard of this cluster. Quiz host Ms. Rashmi Furtado presented what would easily be the toughest of wildcards one has witnessed this season. It resulted in the following 6 qualifying for the cluster final.

The cluster final was hosted by the inimitable quizmaster Pickbrain. He set a benchmark for the Chennai and Trichy qualifiers to battle amongst themselves. IIT Madras with Pranav Hari, a former champion in the fray, started well and he looked set to win another title. It however, took a lot of strategy and good answering from Antony Simon of IIM Trichy, who prevailed over the others to clinch the title. In a close battle, it was Pranav who still managed to finish a worthy runner up.
The guest of honour Mr. Ananthakrishnan, CTO of TCS, appreciated the creation of a seamless digital interface for the Tata Crucible quiz, while advising the students to introspect constantly in a world where thinking on your feet would be a constant requirement.
