Campus Quiz Results - Navi Mumbai – IIM Navi Mumbai win
The Navi Mumbai debut of the quiz was an interesting introduction to the list of cities for the campus edition of the quiz offering teams from the outskirts of Mumbai a fair shot at the zonal rounds. The prelim was a relatively easy affair with the following six teams moving into the finale.
The finalists at Navi Mumbai were:
- ITM: Tushar Kulkarni and Shubham Gupta
- IGCEO: Akshat Goyal and Deepak Pandey
- IIM-Indore (Navi Mumbai Campus): Purvansh M and Pradyoth John
- SIES: Venugopal Nair and Aakash Chauhan
- ITM: Aditya G and Aritra Chaterjee
- ICAI: Amit Kumar and Sujoy Deb
The final was a close battle that IIM Indore (Navi Mumbai campus) led early on with some very quick strikes. It however took just a couple of rounds for the teams from ITM and SIES to start closing in on the IIM duo. The battle moved on with all teams scoring at regular intervals but with the IIM team still managing to hold on to their lead.
In the final round an unforced error from the IIM duo resulting in a negative on the buzzer and a timely strike by ITM made the quiz look even all over again with four teams in with a chance to make it to the next round. The IIM duo quickly regrouped themselves very quickly and closed the quiz with a confident strike on the final question while ITM represented by Tushar and Shubham finished runner-up.
