Campus Quiz Results - Chennai – Great Lakes dominate Chennai
Wow what a quiz!. That seemed to be the reaction with all those who were witness to highly exciting and entertaining quizzing with some of the best quizzers from Chennai battling for the top honours.
The finalists were

- Vivekananda College : Shreyas Bhat & Meenakshi Sundareshwaran
- SSNSM : Barathan & Sekar
- Great Lakes Inst. of Mgmt. : Priyambad & Ayyappan Kumar
- Great Lakes Inst. of Mgmt. : Ms.Nandita & Aadhar
As the final unfolded SVCE played a few quick strokes to get on with the scores while SSNSM, IFIM, Vivekananda and the Great Lakes teams scored in the rounds that followed to ensure parity. At the end of the first couple of overs there was hardly any difference between the teams with the buzzer rounds to follow becoming critical.
The round on the Tata’s witnessed Priyambad and Ayyappan crack two sixes that helped them get past the rest. Trailing in the second spot SVCE tried to push the scoring rate and faltered with a couple of negatives while at the same time Vivekananda gained a few to set up a close fight.
In the final over, Great Lakes held on to the lead to win the round while Vivekananda inched past SVCE to clinch the second place.
