Campus Quiz Results - Trichy – Madurai Medical retain Trichy
The Trichy game of the 2019 campus edition of Tata Crucible was held at the sprawling NIT Trichy campus. The match had over 450 people playing the prelim. Hosted by Ms. Rashmi Furtado, the prelim was well balanced, and she was helpful with her clues helping teams to score. The top teams that made it were:

The super over saw two NIT teams going through to the final. In the final, quizmaster Pickbrain took charge and set the pace for the final. It saw the Madurai Medical team get off to a quick start while all the others played safe and hedged at low scores even as they got their answers right. That did not help the cause of the teams, as Madurai Medical kept playing at higher values and were increasing their lead.
As the quiz progressed only the team from NIT with Sai Prashant and Anirudh looked like challenging Madurai Medical with some very good hits but did not sustain the momentum. Madurai Medical kept the tempo and went on to win another title at Trichy.
The guest of honour, Dr. Bhatavatsalam, Head Industry Interface, NIT Trichy, appreciated the quiz and advised the students present to look at classroom learning as 50% and make a conscious effort to improve out of classroom learning for the remaining 50%.
