Corporate Quiz Results - Vizag Steel dominate Bhubaneswar

The growing number of teams at the Orissa edition of the quiz was applauded by quizmaster Pickbrain as the city witnessed a fairly workable prelim.

Vizag Steel (Sabyasachi Pani and Satyendu Dey ) dominated proceedings right from the word go. With questions passing to them in the first round at a rapid pace they notched up 40 points in just that round to stamp their authority on the final.

Teams from Infosys, Mahindra Satyam and Cognizant did well to rally back in the next couple of rounds. The battle seemed to get a little tense towards the final rounds but Infosys, playing prudent, chose not to risk the second slot when they were not sure of the answers while Mahindra Satyam did give it a final push but it was perhaps too late to challenge Vizag Steel.

The quiz seemed to have become a lot more competitive as compared to the past and the quality of answers were certainly better this year. The crowd truly appreciated the performance of a well prepared Vizag Steel team.

The guest of honour Mr.BK Singh from Tata Steel gave away the prizes to the winning teams.
