The Mumbai edition of the quiz saw more than 140 teams battle through a very interesting prelim that ranged from core corporate questions to classics like the business address of Hercule Poirot. The six teams that made it was:
FINALISTS
The final witnessed a line-up of some regular teams and a few young teams, barely out of college and into the corporate world. The finale saw a quick start by Edelweiss putting early pressure on the other teams.
It took a while for the others to get going and it was Learning Roots that looked like challenging the Edelweiss duo and did so right through the finale. All the other teams tried their best but could not put together a string of right answers to be able to challenge Edelweiss or Learning Roots.
In the end, Edelweiss was simply too good for Learning Roots who finished behind Edelweiss but with a very creditable score of 450. Edelweiss made it the zonal and looked sharp to progress to the nationals as well.
The guest of honour Mr. Harit Nagpal, MD & CEO, Tata Sky appreciated the teams and spoke of how both making profits and doing good to society could go hand in hand to shape a better world.
