In 2017, Tata Crucible broadened its horizon this year and added another platform in its fold, namely the ‘Tata Crucible Hackathon’. With Group Technology and Innovation Office of the Tata group as the content partner, the Tata Crucible Hackathon invited full-time working professionals from any organisation, to come up with ideas to solve the most intriguing challenges ranging from industrial processes to road safety related issues.
This year, in its first ever campus edition, Tata Crucible Hackathon, was open to full time students of business schools, engineering and graduate colleges, including college students from all disciplines, across India.
The zonal finals were held in 4 premiere institutes in India, namely -
South Zone: Christ University, Bengaluru on 1st March 2018
West Zone: KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai on 16th March 2018
East Zone: NIT Jamshedpur on 17th March 2018
North Zone: NIT Delhi on 23rd March 2018
