Campus Quiz Results - Cochin – Library on Net tops Cochin

Cochin, August 22, 2007: The enthusiastic team from Library on Net, with two smart contestants- Abdul Lateef & Subin Surendran, has bagged the Cochin Finals of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2007, held at Taj Residency, Ernakulam, Cochin on August 22nd, 2007.

This round was only for Non- TATA quizzers and the duo from Library on Net won beating Ranjit K Wilson & Arun Thomas from Malayala Manorama, by a wafer thin margin of 1 point, winning a cash prize of Rs 60,000 and qualifying for the National level.

42 teams took part in this Cochin round and Indian Oil Corporation, FACT, On Mobile Asia Pacific and Bharat Petroleum were the other 4 finalists.

The quiz also witnessed a very enthusiastic participation from the audience who won several prizes for themselves. Quiz master, Pickbrain observed “for a debut city I am extremely impressed with the zeal and energy levels at God’s own country”
