On a March afternoon that seemed like a November evening at Patna thanks to the morning showers and cool breeze, Pickbrain kept the temperatures high with his volley of interesting questions. A swift prelim led to the following finalists.

- NIT Patna: Rohit Kashyap and Sayon Deepsadhu
- AIIMS: Aditya Vikram and Faisal Hassan
- IIT Patna: Ankish Gupta and Saswat Raj
- Chanakya Law Univ: Deepesh Kumar and Areeb Amanullah
The initial questions in the final were played carefully by the teams as they got used to the format and the possibility of some big negatives on the buzzer. However, they were soon comfortable and then it was a treat to watch the teams crack well crafted questions.
Most teams were in the race for the title till the final round especially IIT Patna, Chanakya Law Univ and AIIMS all trying to chase down the duo from NIT who were just ahead of them. In the final round the NIT team took the onus onto themselves and cracked tough posers to get themselves into a very strong position that no one could reach.
The second place battle was a tie between IIT and Chanakya Law the latter winning the half a lakh prize cheque while NIT Patna won a Lakh and moved to the East zonals.
