The historic city of Varanasi played host to its edition of Tata Crucible for campus students at the lovely BHU campus here. Colleges from across the city and surrounding locations, like Allahabad and Kanpur were part of the battle. With close to a 100 teams the energy levels were high. The finalists were:

IIT BHU :Hemanth and Rajan
MNNIT Allahabad :Anugrah and Nitin
IIT BHU :Devang and Ayush

The final witnessed a very tense and interesting battle between IIT BHU, MNNIT and IIT Kanpur. At the end of a riveting quiz the duo from IIT Kanpur inched past IIT BHU with Aadhityan and Ashlesh to win a memorable quiz.
The NIT Allahabad team of Shubham and Javed did well in bursts, but could not sustain their momentum. The duo of Aadhityan and Ashlesh, kept at it, but the IIT Kanpur team was always ahead of them.
The audience won several prizes and enjoyed the wit and sharp humour of the quizmaster. The winners now make it to the Kolkata zonal. Prof. Ashim Kumar, Dean Student Affairs, IIT-BHU graced the occasion.
