Champions, SJCE - Srikar and Shreyas

The final witnessed an interesting battle between SJCE with Srikar and Shreyas and the NIE team of Rashmi and Bhargav. The NIE duo were the defending champions from a year ago, so the pressure was more on them. The SJCE team played carefully to ensure they took no negatives or undue risks.

While the other teams did try to make a dent, it was really these two teams that kept the tempo but with SJCE playing rock solid there was no room for Rashmi and Bhargav to get past them. Showing maturity as soon as they realised winning would be difficult, they changed their strategy and played for the second place, only to win it with ease. SJCE marched into the next round winning their first ever title in this quiz.

The audience won several prizes and enjoyed the wit and sharp humour of the quizmaster. The winners now make it to the Coimbatore zonal. Dr. Krishnamurthy, Director and Dean, Mysore Medical College appreciated the teams for their performance and gave away the prizes.
