Govt. Victoria College's maiden win at Calicut

The picturesque city of Calicut played host to its edition of Tata Crucible for campus students at the lovely IIM campus here. Colleges from across the city and surrounding locations were part of the battle. With close to a 100 teams the energy levels were high. The finalists were:

Champions, Govt. Victoria College - Abdul Vahid and Jameer

The final witnessed a very interesting battle. The audience and teams on stage liked the new format, especially the amount of strategy that went into it. At the end of a pitched battle the duo from Govt. Victoria College from Pallakad, won their institute its first ever Tata Crucible title.

The NIT's and IIM's are the regular favourites here but they were sure challenged this year. It was only in the final level of the game that the IIM team managed to claw their way back and clinched the runner-up title. The guest of honour, Prof. Kumar, Dean Academics, IIM(K) appreciated the quiz, the many teams that took part and the quizmaster for a fantastic quiz.
