Campus Quiz Results - Jamshedpur – NIT win at Jamshedpur
Over 175 teams and the Jamshedpur audience were all set for their edition of the quiz. An interesting mix of questions for the prelim led to the following six making it to the final.

- XITE :Subham Debnath and Purshottam Prakash
- IIT Kharagpur :Shubham and Harsh Agarwal
- NIT Jamshedpur :Ms. Swapnil and Kornala Arun
- XLRI :Anirudh and Yadu Menon
The final was absolutely riveting. Teams exchanged lead positions right through the quiz making it an edge of the seat entertainer. The XLRI duo along with teams from NIT were at it till the final segment. It was however the NIT team of Swapnil and Kornala who were just ahead of the rest.
It was a thriller with one question to go and the team of Palak and Sudeep cracked the last question and took a gutsy call to play the bonus question. As everyone sat at the edge of their seats, the NIT duo did the unthinkable and won the quiz.
As seasoned quizmaster Pickbrain put it, ‘in Dhoni country one should expect last ball sixes!’ The NIT team of Swapnil and Kornala finished runner up getting past the XLRI teams.
The guest of honour, Mr. Rajesh Chintak, Chief HRM Tata Steel appreciated all the teams and advised them to prepare better to embrace the opportunities of the future. He also said looking at the quiz he felt the future was ‘safe’.
