It was a battle that saw all the contestants play really well. Most of the early rounds saw the contestants in a huddle with no one really finding the grip to throttle ahead. It was perhaps, the excellent balance of the questions that did them in. It was only in the final round where Preetham came back strongly with back-to-back answers that took him into the lead. With others in the fray taking negatives, he was too seasoned a quizzer to not win it from here on, which he did. Prajot from Pune prevailed, battling a tie to win a slot in the play offs.
